The following is from the information sheet for the 1998 race
 General Information
The run starts and finishes at the Cove Picnic Site, Lake Chabot Regional Park, Castro Valley, California.
All pre-registered runners can pick-up their race number and t-shirt between 6:00 AM and 6:45 AM. There will be race day registration during this time also. The entry fee on race day is $50.00.
The run will start promptly at 7:00 AM. You will need to reach the Skyline Gate Aid Station by 10:30 AM. Runners arriving after the cut-offtime will be required to accept a ride back to the start. The course will be closed at 3:00 PM. Please note, that with the race director's prior consent, any runner having concerns about making the cut-off times may start at 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM.
