Additional Information: Arguably the oldest ultra race in the world, the Brighton has been contested since the early years of the nineteenth century. Its traditions are legendary, from the Arthur Netwon Cup for the winner, presented to the race by the man himself, to the Len Hurst belt for the team winner, presented to the race by Len's widow, a trophy he himself had won in the 1903 London to Brighton race.
