Course Type: Point to Point; Start Location/Finish Location: Spotted Bear (head of Hungry Horse Reservoir) to Hungry Horse/Lion Lake park.
Surface: 36 miles of crowned, dirt road; about 14 miles of paved road
Description: Gently rolling point-to-point course along the western shore of Hungry Horse Reservoir; course has no major steep climbs but several long climbs (200'-300') over a mile or so. Course crosses Hungry Horse dam at mile 47 and has several miles of downhill running before a very enjoyable bushwhack to the finish at Lion Lake.

Altitude Range: 3475' -3900'
Longest Climb: 200' at M32-33
Time Limit/Cutoffs: 3.5 hours at 17.6 mile aid station; 5:45 at 27.7; 7:00 at 32; 8:15 at 36; 9:30 at 41.4
Aid Stations: At mile 2.0 (unmanned); 17.6; 23.0 (unmanned); 27.7, 32.0, 36.0, 41.4, 46.7
