Description: The Hardrock Hundred is a mountain run that goes through a variety of terrain in the San Juan Mountains from trails blasted along the sides of mountains to high open valleys.The course is run clockwise and counter clockwise in alternate years.
Elevation Change: Climb 33,005'; Descent 33,005'
Altitude Range: 7,680'.- 14,048'
Longest Climb: 5230' over 12.3 miles in the clockwise direction at M 45; 5420' over 10.4 miles in the counter clockwise direction.
Time Limit/Cutoffs: 48 hours
Aid Stations: 12 -13 aid stations depending on direction

Additional Information: Entrants must have completed one of the following 100 milers within the last 4 years: Wasatch, Leadville, Angeles Crest, Western States, Massanutten or complete "Grand Slam of Ultrarunning" or have experience in endurance events at high altitude that demonstrates qualifications.
