Surface: Crushed/packed gravel and dirt trails. Some single track.
Description: Initial and final 10K on crushed gravel trail. Middle 30K is very hilly, with some technical sections. Some sections often muddy.
Elevation Change: Climb 5000'; Descent 5000'
Altitude Range: 150' to 1800'
Longest Climb: 1600' over 3 miles
Time Limit/Cutoffs: 8 hours. Cutoff of 7 hours at mile 25.
Aid Stations: 5; #1: 6.3, #2: 10.7, #3: 13.6, #4: 21.2, #5: 24.8, Finish: 31.1. Aid stations #2 and #5 are the same, as are #3 and #4. A spare shirt is suggested especially at #3/4.

Additional Information: All aid stations are drop bag served and crew accessible. 7th annual. Preregistration only by mail. $10 entry. Free to Greater Bellingham Running Club members. This winter has caused abundant windfall on the route. Expect mud, rocks, and fallen trees to jump or negotiate through.
